The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) is the national, NHS funded programme which measures and improves the quality of healthcare for patients with stroke. Using cutting edge data analytics and visualisation, SSNAP is a high profile, award winning programme that supports hospitals and healthcare teams across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

We are seeking to appoint a SSNAP project manager to deliver specific elements of the Stroke Programme. You will be an experienced project manager with a passion for making a difference, responsible for managing and delivering SSNAP projects.

The role involves:

  • Managing and maintaining the production and dissemination of SSNAP outputs (reports, analytics)
  • Ensuring that SSNAP outputs are disseminated effectively
  • Managing a programme of work to engage stakeholders, including clinicians, commissioners of stroke services, public health bodies, stroke survivors and patient and carer groups
  • Developing strategic projects to maintain the quality of SSNAP and increase participation from clinical teams outside of hospital
  • Representing SSNAP at external meetings, including regional workshops

The SSNAP Project Manager will be highly motivated and proactive, with a demonstrable track record of coordinating complex programmes of work to agreed deadlines. The post holder will have experience of working in a similarly dynamic environment, have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and be able to effectively work with a wide variety of audiences including clinicians, policy makers, patients and the public.
