We are seeking to appoint a motivated, organised and experienced committee manager within the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB).

The successful candidate will work in a small, highly productive team responsible for the successful delivery of 90 meetings per annum which support and advise the work of the Core Medical Training Advisory Committee (CMTAC), 29 medical specialties (and 3 sub-specialties) via the Specialty Advisory Committees (SACs) and other associated groups such as Heads of Schools of Medicine and SAC Chairs.

The primary duties involve providing excellent management and secretariat support to a range of allocated committees in their core functions. The post holder will ensure the effective flow of information between the committees and PTB.  

The post holder will have excellent communication skills, show great attention to detail and be able to synthesize detailed, complex information and discussions in order to identify key issues and write high quality minutes and reports. Experience in managing multiple meetings and activities as well as problem solving and decision making is essential. The candidate will be able to prepare agendas, meeting papers and meeting summaries to agreed timelines.
